Roly's Fudge 30th Anniversary Campaign
The client Roly's Fudge was getting ready to celebrate their 30th anniversary and wanted a campaign and brand refresh for this event. The brief was to produce a logo and show its use and application of how this works across both print and digital, as well as packaging for 'Roly’s New Dairy Free Fudge' using this new branding. After extensive research of the company and its roots, a few changes were introduced/reintroduced. The traditional black & gold colour scheme was brought back, along with a twist on the original slogan of 'It's Crumbly' to 'Crumbly Since 1987'. Finally a depiction of the original cauldron used for making the fudge back in 1987 was morphed into the 'O' of 'Roly's'. The original flavours used for the brands fudge were Vanilla Clotted Cream, Chocolate, Butterscotch, Rum ’n’ Raisin, Maple & Walnut. These were reintroduced for the 30th anniversary packaging with a link to a famous spot in Devon (where the brand was founded). Flavour Names: Clovelly Clotted Cream (Clovelly Village) Babbacombe Butterscotch (Babbacombe Village) Canonteign Chocolate (Canonteign Falls) Morwellham Maple & Walnut (Morwellham Quay) Royal Albert Rum ’n’ Raisin (Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery)
